The house, up to now divided into rooms, was reorganized following the architect’s requirements and the new owner of the house. The search and design work, an essential aspect in the architect’s life, led to the need to connect his studio with his home to facilitate meetings with clients and suppliers. The short time available to complete the work and his desire to avoid annoying masonry works made MIES the perfect choice, thanks to its patented system that allows a fast implementation and an easy installation. The architect chose the MITIKA door to complete the wall. Featured with a perimetric aluminum frame, the door is sturdy but transparent, which is an essential characteristic to keep the space luminous.
The intervention was carried out quickly and perfectly integrates with the other Adielle doors in the other rooms. Despite its small dimensions, the wall was easily customized according to the owner’s style and is now a characterizing part of this intervention in the Home world.
